Needle epilation is a hair removal method from the field of instrument-based cosmetics. This method is extremely suitable for the permanent removal of isolated, very light-coloured hairs. At our aesthetic-medical cosmetic practice we value electroepilation/needle epilation as an effective method for removal of hair which cannot be removed with IPL or laser technologies. White or very light-coloured hairs have too little melanin (hair pigment) for removal with light or laser. With epilation we are able to achieve permanent hair removal of even very light-coloured hairs from the smallest areas.
