The video is in German with chapters.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From rehabilitation to aesthetics: a short history<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LPG Endermologie did not start in a beauty salon. In 1985, the French engineer <strong>Louis Paul Guitay<\/strong> was injured in a car accident. During his rehabilitation, he received manual massages from physiotherapists that were effective but painful. He wanted to reproduce the rolling technique mechanically, so the treatment would be gentler for the patient and less tiring for the therapist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <strong>1986<\/strong>, he founded LPG Systems in Valence, France. The technique was patented shortly after and named Endermologie. As often happens, a method developed in medicine found its way into aesthetics: professionals noticed that the same mechanical stimulation improved skin firmness, contour and the appearance of cellulite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;The system was developed for rehabilitation. It was later seen that this method works very well on the connective tissue and stimulates collagen production.&#8221;<\/em> <strong>Magdalena Br\u00fcgger, CP Praxis<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, LPG technology is used by over 28,000 professionals in more than 110 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How does LPG Endermologie work?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The handpiece of the Cellu M6 Alliance combines two patented elements: a <strong>motorised roller<\/strong> and a <strong>motorised flap<\/strong>, together with <strong>sequential suction<\/strong>. The same device can give very different results depending on the protocol, pressure, direction and experience of the therapist.
