Laser hair removal removes hair completely and permanently. The fast, even and painless hair removal method is currently the most effective way to permanently depilate body parts. But be careful, laser treatment belongs in the hands of experienced specialists. In our medical-cosmetic practice in Basel, we are specially trained and work exclusively with the highest quality titanium diode lasers from Zeitwerk Systeme AG. Thanks to three different wavelengths, it is possible to reliably remove different hair lengths and hair structures. Whether nose hair, ear hair, facial hair, hair in the intimate area or large-area hair removal on the back, chest, arms and legs.

Our team is specially trained for laser hair removal. For women and men, for all skin/hair types, for all body regions. Depending on hair growth and hair texture, we recommend 6-8 treatments.

Laser hair removal does not require any special skin preparation, but the following points must be observed BEFORE laser treatment. Of course, you will receive a detailed, approx. 30-minute consultation before the treatment.

This is how laser hair removal works in our cosmetic practice.

Before treatment

  • The titanium diode laser only affects hair in the growth phase. The hair should not be plucked, epilated or removed with wax for about 4-6 weeks before the start of treatment. (shave only)
  • The skin must not be pre-tanned, not even from a tanning salon. Please pause for 3 weeks before the laser treatment.

On the day of treatment

  • Clean skin well and shave hair thoroughly.
  • Please only use gentle soaps and lotions and make sure your skin is well moistened. Avoid lotions with vitamin A, C or fruit acids.

Treatment

  • The titanium diode laser glides painlessly and evenly over the skin regions. Practically painless, even in sensitive and hard-to-reach areas such as noses and ears.
  • Depending on the body region, hair texture and hair growth, we recommend around 6-8 treatments every 6-8 weeks.

After treatment

  • After the treatment we use soothing, moisturizing lotions.
  • Protect your skin from direct sunlight for about 4 weeks.
